STEMNoire is a first-of-its-kind, nonprofit research conference and holistic wellness retreat for women of the African diaspora in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Through our intentionally curated year-round programming and annual conference, STEMNoire convenes Black women and non-binary people in STEM to foster community, facilitate collaboration, and enhance personal and professional outcomes. Our programs are rich with targeted personal and professional development resources, such as poster and oral research presentations, keynote addresses, and interactive workshops, necessary for resilience in STEM education and the workforce.

Our fourth annual conference, STEMNoire 2024, will be held from June 20-23, 2024 in Washington D.C. Our 2024 theme, Empowering Excellence: Black Women Leading the STEM Renaissance, centers the leadership of Black Women who are driving lasting change in the STEM ecosystem.
